Nov. 5: Alumni Breakfast with J.P. Natkin ’91 on “Eurasian Economic Union: Planting Acorns. Join fellow alumni for breakfast with J.P. Natkin ’91, founding Partner of Macro-Advisory Ltd., a political and economic advisory firm, who will discuss “The Eurasian Economic Union (EEU): Planting Acorns.” Conversation will focus on how: 1) Russia’s economy dominates the EEU and why that is important; and 2) the EEU offers international companies the opportunity to choose optimum trade locations, allowing for free export trading across internal borders. 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM. Nov. 5, 9am: Book Launch Event: “Failed: What The ‘Experts’ Got Wrong About The Global Economy” Center for Economic and Policy Research launch of FAILED (Oxford University Press, 2015) which analyzes why important economic developments of recent years have been widely misunderstood, and in some cases almost completely ignored. Nov. 12, 5pm: “New York Fed Graduate Information Session” This information session, held at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, aims to provide first-year graduate students an insider’s view of the NY Fed’s core mission and responsibilities, exposure to senior leaders through a panel discussion and networking reception, and key recruiting information for applying to the Fed’s 2016 Summer Associate program.
