Weekly Newsletter – March 13, 2014

Thanks for those who attended our Impact Investing 101 lecture co-sponsored by Net Impact on Monday! Mr. Greenberg, Managing Director of Social Enterprises Finance Department at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation gave a great talk on the structure of a development finance institution and the model employed to evaluate its work. Thank you to Cynthia Wang and Charles Gilbert who organized the event.

On Wednesday, March 26th, the International Finance Club will host Professor John Lipsky, former Managing Director of International Monetary Fund (IMF), who will discuss the turmoil in emerging market and answer questions from students interested in the matter. Please RSVP to our club email.

Our newsletter editors will have limited Internet access tomorrow and next week, so we are sending out the next newsletter beforehand. Hope all of you have a wonderful spring break, and we look forward to seeing you at Professor Lipsky’s talk!
