Apr. 2 – Financial Regulations 101 (Spring 2014)

Professor Winthrop Browen, a former lawyer at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, gave students a talk on the topic of the Dodd-Frank Act. He introduced the current financial regulatory situation in the world and discussed whether or not the Dodd-Frank Act has cured Too Big To Fail.

Mar. 28 – Careers in Energy Finance Career Panel (Spring 2014)

The Careers in Energy Finance panel featured 4 recent SAIS graduates from OPIC, AES, World Bank, and Department of Energy. They spoke about their backgrounds and current jobs, and provided advice to current students interested in energy finance careers. The event ended with a networking portion that allowed students to speak with the alumni individually.
