SAIS International Finance Club – Second Year Leadership Bios

President: Sunny Li

Vice President: Kevin Pang; Richard Tang

Sunny is a second-year Sassier concentrating in Energy, Resources, and Environment with a specialization in International Finance. Born in Beijing, China, Sunny joined SAIS after completing her BA (Hons) degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Brasenose College, Oxford, where she was also a committee member of Oxford Women in Politics. Sunny’s professional experience includes a brief stint in fashion journalism, and internships with Nomura and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

Kevin is concentrating in Energy, Resources, and Environment and pursuing a specialization in international finance. Prior to SAIS, studied Chinese at the International Chinese Language Program in Taipei and taught English in South Korea. Previously, Kevin has interned with the Institute of International Finance where he focused on capital flows. He’s originally from Pittsburgh and holds a B.S. in Economics and International Studies from Penn State where he was also a member of the varsity rowing team.

Richard is a second year China Study concentrator and also pursuing an international finance specialization. Before attending SAIS, He got his B.A. in economics at East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai, where he also co-founded the school’s first finance club. Richard had experience in industry research and project screening for equity brokerage firms and private equity in Shanghai. In his spare time, he likes classical music and is a fan of the British Premier League.
