On April 23, SAIS alum (’91, Strategic Studies) Tryfan Evans spoke to a group of 27 students about allocating private equity in emerging markets from an endowment prospective. Mr. Evans drew on his experience as the Director of Investments in the Tufts University Investment Office where he also serves as the director of the Omidyar-Tufts Microfinance Fund and is responsible for the endowment’s international private equity program. Mr. Evans answered questions about portfolio strategy in emerging markets, sector trends, and his own career path. A sincere thank you to Mr. Evans for taking the time to speak with us. Thanks as well to Sam Lee for planning the event.
