[Finance 101] Anatomy of a Bank with Jason Loughnane and Sam Duncan

March 16, 2012

Events

On March 15, Jason Loughnane and Sam Duncan addressed a group of 28 students and alumni as part of the club’s 2nd Annual Finance 101 series. Drawing on their previous work experience at Goldman Sachs, the second-year students broke down various departments and job functions within an investment bank. They pointed out which areas might be of particular interest to SAIS students, answered questions about buy/sell side distinctions, and even addressed the recent resignation-by-NYT OpEd.

The International Finance Club would like to thank Jason and Sam for their thoughtful presentation, and for taking time out of their busy schedules for us during midterms. Thank you as well to Erik Hansen for planning a fantastic event, and to the JHU Alumni Association for making the Finance 101 series possible!
