This week, the International Finance Club will host the second event of this year’s Finance 101 speaker series. Don’t forget to RSVP for the “Anatomy of a Bank” presentation this Thursday (3/15), and for Professor Bodnar’s “Personal Finance 101” lecture on Wednesday, March 28. See Upcoming Events section for details.
Last Tuesday, Kay Turner, an MIPP student and a Managing Director at Citi (on sabbatical), addressed a group of 34 students and alumni as part of the Finance 101 speaker series. Her interactive lecture focused on personality and fit as key components of a successful job search and career in finance. She shared insights from her own career and helped the audience better understand the elements of an effective pitch. The event was a huge success. Thanks to Kay for sharing her valuable perspective, and to Anita and Napat for planning the event!
