[Finance 101] Finding the Right Finance Job: Personalities and Career Development

March 9, 2012

Events

On Tuesday, March 6, MIPP student Kay Turner addressed a group of 34 students and alumni as part of the Finance Club’s second annual Finance 101 speaker series. Kay is a Managing Director at Citi (on sabbatical) where she ran the emerging markets fixed income corporate and bank research analyst team focused on Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa credits and had her own trading book. Her interactive lecture focused on personality and fit as key components of a successful job search and career in finance. She shared insights from her own career and helped the audience better understand the elements of an effective pitch.

Thank you to Anita Tung for planning a fabulous event, and also to the JHU Alumni Association for making the Finance 101 series possible.
