Weekly Newsletter: January 29, 2012

January 29, 2012

Welcome back! We’re happy to announce that the club has been awarded a grant from the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association for our 2nd Annual Finance 101: Crash Course Series. Last spring, the Crash Courses were presented by faculty members, alumni and practitioners on topics ranging from Investments 101 to Private Equity. This year we’re looking forward to expanding the series to explore even more commonly raised questions and important themes related to the field of finance. Stay tuned for upcoming events.

Additionally, the leadership announcements that were included in the previous weekly newsletter failed to mention a valuable member of the incoming team. We’re happy to announce that Napat Jatusripitak will serve as the VP of Professional Development for the upcoming year. Congratulations to Napat and to the rest of the incoming leadership team.

We’re looking forward to a great spring semester. If you have any ideas, suggestions or comments related to club, please let us know. We’d love to hear your thoughts.
